Not much going on the the shop the first part of 2011. Keep finding things to add and build for the shop itself. Then Sherry came in from shopping at a kitchen supply store and asked, "What are you going to do with the ends of those baseball bat blanks?"
Sam had previously made a stop at D-Bats in Mt. Pleasant. After a tour, he left with quite a few pieces of wood...round wood. All of the baseball blanks are the same length. When children's bats are made, the ends are cut off and discarded. They were standing in a box waiting on a purpose.
